Its activities cover the following areas: (1)Power systems planning, research and studies, forecasts and expert evaluations, design and construction management; (2)Design of thermal and diesel power plants, heating stations, gas supply and district heating networks; (3) Design of dams and hydraulic structures, hydropower plants, pumped-storage power plants and small hydro plants, water supply system; (4)Design of transmission lines, substations, urban networks, electric power system automatic control; (5) Nuclear technologies and facilities, radiation protection and control systems, radwaste treatment and storage, nuclear fuel storage; (6) Engineering-geological and hydro geological studies, field and laboratory tests of rocks, soils and civil structures; (7) Design of water treatment plants and wastewater treatment installations; (8) Domestic, industrial and hazardous waste treatment; (9) Environmental pollution control; (10)Computerised and office systems, specialised software; (11) Engineering and trading activities and marketing; (12) Publishing activities and advertising. During the years of development and elaboration different divisions and lab teams were established adapting themselves to new methods and engineering technologies. A special attention has been given to the National Strategy of Energy, Reconstructions and Modernisations of the Hydro and Thermal Power Generation Plants, Augmentation of the Safety Exploitation of a Nuclear Power Plant, Removal of the Negative Influence on the Environment, Economical and Effective Tendencies in the Power Generation Sector Development. 

Since 1997 ENERGOPROEKT has implemented and operates a Quality Management System in compliance with the requirements of the Quality Standard DIN EN ISO 9001:1994. The company obtained a certificate ¹BG 98/581/0557 dated 20.01.1998 from SGS Gesellschaft fur Zertifizierungen m.b.H. Since 18.01.2001 the term of this certificate was expanded by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance under ¹170288.
