The staff of Laboratory for Advanced Materials Research (LAMAR) has a high expertise in application of new methods for synthesis (including synthesis and processing of layers and coatings via the sol- gel route and preparation of ceramic membranes by processing and next thermal treatment of nanoscale and high dispersed ceramic powders). The attention of the laboratory is to perform hi- tech materials synthesis generally from liquid phase. A high scientific power exists regarding physicochemical and structural characterisation of nano- and submicron- structured coatings. 

The local, regional and international contacts as well as the quality of the scientific work of the group guarantees a high level of scientific investigation, adequate interpretation of the results and overall competition in the R&D SOFC’s field.
