Levels of Support

The student Exchange Programme is intended to reimburse expenses for travelling and living of the students in a foreign country.
Allowable costs that are refunded on supply of documentation include:

  • travel expenses to a maximum of 750 Euro (round trip, including transport inside of the country),
  • cost of lodging up to a maximum of 250 Euro per month,
  • special materials and costs up to a maximum of 100 Euro per month,
  • cost of child care up to a maximum of 250 Euro per month,
  • fixed subsistence allowance of between from 250 to 450 Euro per month in dependence of the general living expenses of the hosting country. The FP6 Marie Curie correlation coefficient will be applied as feasible.
The maximum funding per exchange is limited to 2500 Euro. Costs of child care are supplied in addition to this limit.
Costs for accompanying family, apart from child care, will not be covered.
The reimbursement of the student will -in principle- take place through the receiving institution.
The student exchange programme will not cover salaries!
